The Creation of Heroes of Mobius

Heroes of Mobius is my Sonic AU, taking elements from throughout Sonic media and putting them in one universe It's very much a darker take on the Sonic series, like the Owl House of Full Metal Alchemist, in fact, if you were to describe Heroes of Mobius. A Sonic, Owl House.

Development of this universe started around 2021, wanting to create some kind of fanfic series based on Sonic. I wrote a few story outlines, character bios, and even unfished scripts as concepts. Originally the series was to start the day Robotnik's coup happened. And then do a time skip afterward and start adapting the games. It would have gone by a different name, then it was Rise of the Blue Blur, I even made a logo for the series but it has been lost. It would feature Sonic, Sally, Bunnie (spelled Bunny in the script), Tails, Rotter, Antwain, and others. 

It would also show Bunnie's robotization, where her limbs were crushed and Uncle Chuck uses the experiment Robotisizer to save her life. In this Robotnik would find the lab and the Robotiszer along with it. Sonic would meet Robotnik and the two would react to the first boss fight in the Game Gear version of Sonic the Hedgehog (1991). However, the story was never finished.

I never put it down and continued coming up with plots and working on the timeline of the universe. I tossed around ideas of the universe going with the two-worlds concept that was being used at the time in sonic media, but this would be dropped. I would come up with backstories, such as Robotnik a war hero who lost his arm and eyes in the final battle of the great war, similar to Bunnie.

I would draw Sonic art always thinking of them as if they were written in my universe and I would start posting character sheets of characters on Deviantart in 2023, starting with Sonic, then Robotnik, Tails, and Sally.

But before this in 2022, I did write a full script for a possible comic that would later be turned into a full-on short story in 2023. It would be posted on a now-defunct blog, and then later on DeviantArt and Wattpad. I would also make an Audiobook of the story, posted on Youtube. With this I would continue working on the universe, writing a few more short stories that have yet to be posted and shared online.

I have now also started and actually made a page comic based on the universe traditionally drawn, and I have posted a comic dub on YouTube as well. I would love to talk about it more, but I want to post more about the Heroes of Mobius.
